Higham Ferrers Medical Centre

The Medical Centre was constructed to provide patient waiting, consulting, treatment and utility rooms, administration offices and a file server room.

The Heating design and specification incorporates a zoned low pressure hot water natural gas fired condensing boiler.  Low surface temperature radiators are provided in public areas.

Electrical installation is designed to provide general lighting, power and IT services, power to boiler room control panel, air conditioning and mechanical ventilation equipment and controls.  Mechanical extract ventilation is provided throughout. Air conditioning to the file server room utilises R410A refrigerant and variable speed compressor.

Domestic hot water services are provided via vertical indirect storage calorifier operating at mains pressure, the contents heated by the gas boiler. Alternative electric immersion heaters are fitted.
